Salma joined our GP surgery in January 2018 as a practice nurse . Prior to this Salma worked in A&E as a senior nurse dealing with emergency nursing care . 
Salma is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She has completed extra clinical training to be able to examine, assess, make diagnosis, and prescribe treatments for patients that present with different conditions and symptoms.

She continuous to supports patients with the management of their long-term conditions such as Diabetes, COPD and Asthma.  She also provides childhood immunisations, wound care, travel health, smear tests and contraception advice. 

She works from home on Monday and in the practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.
